Get the details right
The chapter author is not necessarily the book editor. Enter the chapter title as the source title, the book title as the container, and editors in their own list. The full chapter page range identifies the chapter; the cited page identifies your quotation.
Style and source limits
APA7, MLA9 and Chicago18 notes/bibliography. Harvard uses the documented Leeds adaptation; ISO690 uses a documented English author–date variant. Locale terms follow the selected language where the style permits; some terms remain fixed by the style. Check your institution’s rules, metadata, capitalisation and abbreviations.
